Did you know that a bee has to visit approximately 2 million flowers to make just one pound of honey? We do, and we remember that every time we dunk our signature honey lollipops into our favorite Waxing Kara teas. That’s why our #1 mission is making the bees happy. At our Chesterhaven Beach Farm in Maryland, we have dedicated over 40 acres to our busy honey bees. We removed all of the genetically modified crops and instead planted high-nectar, indigenous plants that keep our bees happy and thriving. Our bees dance all day long through wildflowers, lavender, fruit trees, bee balm, sunflowers and more. The bees give so much to us, it’s our job to keep them flourishing.
