 Bonny Doon Vineyard just announced the inaugural release of the 2017 La Bulle-Moose de Cigare, a fizzy pink wine of the earth, and the first wine it has packaged en canette. This quite dry, fizzy (but rather elegant) pink, is composed of Grenache Noir, Grenache Blanc, Mourvèdre, Roussanne, Carignane and Cinsaut, (a blend remarkably similar to the winery’s celebrated Vin Gris de Cigare). The approximate retail price is $7.99 for a 375 ml. can; approximately 5700 cases were produced.
The release of this wine represents an effort to provide an alternative in the canned fizzy wine category attractive to the millennial population. Although you don't need to be a millennial to like it! :) Cheers! Comments are closed.
