I've written about Salba before and am a fan of it since it contains a great amount of plant-based Omega 3's (2740mg of Omega 3 per 12g serving) and Calcium (92.4mg of calcium per 12g serving). Flaxseed is also one of my favorite plant-based Omega 3 sources. Omega 3 is the name given to a family of polyunsaturated fatty acids and is used in the formation of cell walls and improves circulation and oxygen uptake with proper red blood cell flexibility and function.
