Hi Mary,
I'm NKU Class of '78 ... very glad you're blogging about our food practices and their affect on the planet and our health. I have a difficult time convincing people of the devastation caused to the planet by raising livestock for human consumption. Many years ago, I began questioning the morality of eating other sentient species when it wasn't necessary for our survival.
However, tonight I've been drinking a good German Pilsner beer. So, I'm more interested in telling you how good you looked on the cover of The Northern. I'd love to see more pics and read more of what's on your mind.
