This World Wildlife Fund Video shows how much water it takes to make a Latte. The amount includes the water it takes to make cow's milk which is significant. Organic soy and almond milks use much less water and are better for the planet and humans. I have my organic  soy or almond milk latte every morning.
Check out the video.

Many Gratitude Gourmet readers are already familiar with how important Prevention is in our own health care.  Michael Pollan describes in this NY Times Article the Elephant in the Room that's not being discussed during the health care debate. This article is a must-read. Many of you know I previously interviewed Michael Pollan and asked him if he would be interested in being a food advisor to Obama. We need someone external to the USDA and FDA to provide input to Obama on legislation which impacts our health and the planet.
